Ambassador Network for Staff

The Staff Ambassador Network has been developed to provide a place to share, learn and develop upon ideas on tackling mental health stigma and discrimination from other schools across Scotland. 

This virtual space is for staff who have the responsibility of a See Me See Change/mental health ambassador-type role following the training.

See Me Youth Consultants will facilitate online sessions throughout the academic year. Their role is to create safe, fun and engaging spaces that support conversations around action planning.

Youth Consultants will also bring along their insight and knowledge.

What to expect from the sessions

You can expect discussions, case studies and more structured around the network aims for participants and See Me to connect, share, learn and listen.

Participants of the networks will be able to:

  • Connect with other pupils or staff participating in See Me See Change.
  • Share practice in relation to See Me See Change implementation, action plans, activities and progress.
  • Learn from each other about what stigma looks like within school environments, the barriers and challenges, as well as solutions to reducing it.
  • Listen to See Me and special guests share resources, updates and wider opportunities within the See Me See Change programme of work.
