See Me Director, Calum Irving Announces Departure

Calum Irving, See Me’s Director since June 2016 has announced he will be leaving See Me in August to take up a new post as Head of the Third Sector Unit at the Scottish Government.

Calum said: “Whilst I’m excited to be taking up my new post I’m saddened to be leaving See Me, which I believe is one of the most important movements for change in Scotland today. 

“I’m proud that with dedicated and passionate colleagues and volunteers we have built a programme that is successfully challenging mental health stigma and discrimination and providing hope to many. 

“I am very grateful to the team, volunteers, Managing Partners, Advisory Group and our many partners who I have thoroughly enjoyed working with and learned so much from.”

All the team at See Me wish Calum well and look forward to working with him in his new role.

See Me’s Managing Partners will ensure that interim arrangements are in place before Calum’s departure on 9^th August.
