Join us on the Time to Talk Tour
Posted by See Me, 30 January 2020
Time to Talk Day is fast approaching, 6 February 2020, and ahead of the big event two of our volunteers, Karen Lally and Suzanne Baines, will once again be hitting the road on their Time To Talk Tour to let people in Scotland know all about it.
Karen and Suzanne are two See Me champions who have become good friends through their volunteering, shared mental health experiences, and sense of humour - think Thelma and Louise meet Jack and Victor (Still Game)!
Each year since 2018 the pair have embarked on a ‘buddies’ road trip to promote Time To Talk Day and the value of talking about mental health to help end stigma and discrimination. This year’s Tour starts on 30 January and over the course of 5 days the pair will cover approximately 700 miles in the beautifully branded See Me Mobile, stopping along the way at a number of pre-arranged locations with their Conversation Corner, as well as making impromptu stops en route as opportunities arise.
Keeping with the theme of 'would you rather', the theme for Time to Talk day this year, each day you will get to choose the route you would rather they take.
If you’d like to engage with the Tour you can follow it on Twitter @TimeToTalkTour #TimeToTalkTour #TimeToTalk, or, even better, why not catch up with the duo at one of the following locations:
