Join us for Time to Talk Day

Posted by See Me, 17 January 2018

We're delighted to announce that we will be in The Lighthouse in Glasgow for Time to Talk day this year, chatting about mental health over the best view in Glasgow.

We would love to see as many of you as possible and everyone is welcome to come and join us for a great event to chat about mental health.

We will be there from 10am into the afternoon.

This is the first time we have been an official partner in Time to Talk, after the day becoming a massive event in England over the past few years, run by Time to Change

It’s easy to think there’s no right place to talk about mental health. But the more we talk about it, the better life is for all of us. Too many people with mental health problems are made to feel isolated, worthless and ashamed. Conversations have the power to change lives, wherever they take place.

This year Time to Talk day coincides with Breathing Space day in Scotland. Their campaign, 365 Brighter Days is designed to offer a year round approach to positivity. A 365 Brighter Days calendar is available to inspire positive thoughts every day of the year.

So Breathing Space and See Me have joined forces to ensure that people talk about mental health on February 1st and use this as the first step to practicing positivity throughout the next 365 days. Messages from both programmes will be displayed at each campaigns launch events, at the Breathing Space launch in the Reception Hall at Walker Hall, South Beach Troon, and at the Time to Talk launch in The Lighthouse, Glasgow.
