Mental Welfare Commission Visitor recruitment
As a result of changes to the law and their structure the Mental Welfare Commission is looking to appoint ten new Commission Visitors. These are paid sessional posts (minimum 15 days per year). Five posts are reserved for people with experience in advocating for, caring for or using mental health or learning disability services. Five posts are reserved for practitioners with a background in either clinical psychology, occupational therapy, pharmacy, law or criminal justice.
The Public Appointments Unit is also currently recruiting Commission Board Members.
