Snappers are being encouraged to send in a captioned photo that captures the ‘Be there. Be yourself’ theme before the 18thof September. The competition is open to absolutely anyone regardless of their ability.
There are three categories: under 18s, the public’s choice, and the judge’s choice. The three winners from each region in Scotland will be entered into the national final where they will be in with the chance to win the great prizes listed above, and see their work displayed at a public exhibition. The national winners will each receive £250 of John Lewis vouchers and a day with professional photographer Tony Marsh.
Suzie Vestri, ‘see me’ Campaign Director, says: “With just over a couple of weeks to go we are really trying to get people from across the country to submit their pictures which capture the ‘Be there. Be yourself’ theme.
“We all use photos to capture the most important moments in our lives, and this is the perfect opportunity to showcase their work, regardless of their experience or age.”
“With the great prizes on offer we are expecting a flurry of submissions in the closing weeks and don’t want anyone to miss out on this great opportunity.”
