'see me for Tea'
Scottish Mental Health Week in 2011 fell between the 10th - 17th October and here at ‘see me’ we asked our pledge signatories to stop, breathe and have a brew on us. We sent out a 'see me for tea' pack to all our 'see me' pledge signers encouraging them to have a tea break during Scottish Mental Health Week, in their workplace, voluntary group or even in their house or local café with friends.
The ‘see me for tea’ pack included tea bags, napkins and our double sided recipe card featuring our favourite (and incredibly delicious!) red velvet cupcake recipe and our recipe for good mental health.
During the ‘see me for tea’ breaks we asked people to take time to really think about how they are feeling; and when they asked someone ‘How are you?’ to really listen to the answer. We wanted to create a time for everyone, personally and within the organisation, to have a think and a chat about mental health. We also included our ‘see me’ quiz to kick things off (for those that still need the answers they can be found here).

Here are some pictures from 'see me' for teas held by our pledge signatories across Scotland - thank you to those who have already sent in their photos!
