Scottish Mental Health Week

World Mental Health Day is the 10th of October every year. Scottish Mental Health Week (SMHW) is the week (beginning on a Monday) that contains the 10th. So, for example in 2013 SMHW will be the 7th to 13th of October.

Every year mental health organisations and activists celebrate this week with events and activities to raise awareness of mental health, draw in new supporters and celebrate the achievements of the past 12 months.

In the past 'see me' was always busy tallking and attending other people's events however in recent years ‘see me’ has taken a more proactive approach to this week planning our own activities and get our supporters involved in tackling stigma with 'see me'.
