The day opened with a networking lunch and included a presentation from the ‘see me’ Campaign Director Suzie Vestri as well as two local show cases of tackling stigma and discrimination.
The first was members of Ailsa Hospital’s art therapy groups who shared with us some of their recent and highly commended art work. This was led by Catriona Hutcheson and Hazel Ferguson. The second showcase was a DVD viewing of ‘Pieces of a Jigsaw’ written by Ross Mackie and inspired by stories of recovery from mental illness.
